About the author
Beate Baumann ist Professorin für Deutsche Linguistik und Übersetzung an der Universität Catania (Sizilien) und Vize-Direktorin des interuniversitären Forschungszentrums Polyphonie (Genua-Catania). Ihre Forschungsinteressen sind die Didaktik des Deutschen, interkulturelle Studien, Mehrsprachigkeit und sprachliche Kreativität sowie empirische Methodenforschung.
