About the author

The author has completed his B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and M.E. in Communication System Engineering in 1989 and 1993 respectively from Sambalpur University and awarded with Ph. D. from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. Presently he is the Head of the department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, University College of Engineering, Burla, India. He was the Principal Investigator of the Thrust Area Project Building Cognition of Intelligent Robot of Govt. Of India sponsered by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, India and presently he is supervising a Major Research Project Machine Learning & Perception by Cognitive Methods sponsered by University Grant Commission of India. He has also sucessfuly completed few projects from Govt. and Private Agencies in the area of Machine Intelligence & Soft Computing.
