About this ebook

Mission: Courage is the fourth book in the Rise Again Warrior Series. A series that focuses on what our veterans go through after the war and their careers are over.

After years in the Army, Gianna Roberts is detached and unsure of herself and her future. When a chain reaction occurs, she finds herself falling into the deep, dark, den of demons called alcohol.

With Gianna physically self-destructing with her abusive addiction, she’s unable to care for herself and her son. The day that Nate Hardy takes a stool beside her at the bar, is the day her life might change.

Nate is not a stranger to addiction and has been battling with it himself for five years. His job is to find servicemen and women and bring them back to Rise Again Warrior for help.

Behind the wire, a fragile relationship will grow. Nate will help Gianna find the courage to face sobriety, but will it be at the cost of his own?

Join us for another emotional, intense, heartbreaking, and realistic story of hope, despair, addiction, and PTSD inside the wire of the Rise Again Warrior Complex.

Gia was a mechanic in the Army who had tragedy after tragedy. With all that went on she turned into a blackout drunk. Nate is an intake for RAW. Gia's step-dad, who happened to be Nate's uncle asked him to help Gia. Nate agreed, he met up with Gia at a bar when she was at her lowest. The Rise Again series is one of the best I have read. Make sure you have tissues handy you wi be going on an emotional rollercoaster. I highly recommend you read all in this series. They are all amazing stories.

From tragedy to triumph, this book took me on a roller-coaster ride of anguish, pain, and suffering as Gia went from the brink of total destruction to finding hope in a long, dark tunnel. Although a work of fiction, the plot made me wonder about the many thousands of people around the world who have served their country in the military, or who have to deal with the effects of human tragedy and destructive forces on a daily basis as part of their work. Having lost more than most people, the final straw comes when Gia is denied access to her child. She is fortunate in that there is one person who has her back and makes the telephone call that saves her life. Nate has faced his share of demons, and if anyone could understand Gia, he does. Offering the hand of a fellow warrior, he draws Gia in and takes her back to RAW to get the treatment and help she needs. The road back is almost as hard as the one that took her down in the first place, but with people who understand at her side, she almost makes it, until the past intrudes in a shocking and unexpected manner. Both Gia and Nate are set back on their heels as they have to face their demons, but they are fortunately not alone as those who care about them intervene and straighten the path once more. Not everyone makes it, as this story shows, but Nate and Gia finally reach the place where they can face the world together. I received a copy of this incredible novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
