4 stars — This is one of those books that kind of challenged me, b/c honestly? There were aspects that I was initially NOT a fan of. And I think I’m still thinking of them. But at the same time, b/c of those aspects, I think I was surprised at how much I ended up loving the parts I loved. Vague enough for you? *snort* Here’s the thing. I think I requested this book based purely on author alone. I’ve really been enjoying Ms. Reid (though I will admit, they’re not guaranteed hits for me).

3.5 stars - The story was well written, and the characters were interesting. The plot just wasn't my cup of tea. I am not a fan of dishonesty that leads to ‘waiting for the other shoe to drop’ or any politics, even historical. I will try other stories by this author that do not costain either of these aspects.

Action packed and emotionally thrilling adventure filled with engaging charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and exciting turns. Really enjoyed this sweetly sexy who knew we would be so awesome for each other adventure.
