About this ebook

Charming, hilarious, and emotional, Starry-Eyed Love is Helena Hunting at her very best!

Having just broken up with her boyfriend, London Spark is not in the mood to be hit on. Especially not when she’s out celebrating her single status with her sisters. So when a very attractive man pays for their drinks and then slips her his number, she passes it right back to him with a ‘thanks, but no thanks’. As the business administrator for their family’s event hotel, the Spark House, London has more important things to worry about, like bringing in new clientele.

As luck would have it, a multi-million-dollar company calls a few months later asking for a meeting to discuss a potential partnership, and London is eager to prove to her sisters, and herself, that she can land this deal. Just when she thinks she has nailed her presentation, the company’s CEO, Jackson Holt, walks in and inserts himself into the meeting. Not only that, but he also happens to be the same guy she turned down at the bar a few months ago.

As they begin to spend more time together, their working relationship blossoms into something more. It isn’t until their professional entanglements are finally over, that London and Jackson are finally ready to take the next step in their relationship. But between Jackson’s secretive past and London’s struggle with her sisters, London must question where she really stands - not just with Jackson, but with the Spark House, too.

5 star Review Starry-Eyed Love (Spark House #2) by Helena Hunting Starry-Eyed Love ticked all the boxes for me as London Spark and Jackson Holt’s story unfolded. I adore Helena Hunting’s style of writing and I loved both these characters. , The first time London and Jackson met, she rejected his advances. Fast forward a few months and London is determined to push through the latest business deal on behalf of her family’s hotel. Imagine her horror when after nailing her presentation the CEO of the company walks in and it is Jackson, the man she rejected months ago. Working together it becomes harder to resist the sizzling attraction that continues to build. I fell hard and fast for Jackson and I loved how caring, sassy and feisty London was as she stood her ground not only with her family but with Jackson. Starry-Eyed Love was a sweet, romantic, steamy story about two people who are destined to be together. From start to finish Helena Hunting wove together a story that I could not put down, she had me totally engrossed from the first to the last chapter. I received an copy of this book through the publisher via Netgalley

Jackson Holt is impossible to resist. He is a smart and fair businesses with a passion for saving environment. Kind. Charming. Caring. He has a dazzling charisma that cannot be ignored. He wanted to pursue London and wanted to use own connections to help Spark House flourish but he never used it as an advantage. He did all the courting and wooing and I applaud London's resistance power. She is beautiful and creative and has a big heart. She has qualities those make her relatable. How the dual pressure of the family business and her passion about craft are taking a toll on her. How she wants to give Jackson a chance but scared of getting hurt. It had an easy pace where they slowly get to know each other and builds a solid friendship and then slowly fall in love. The story has parts those created tension and heartbreak between them and those only amplified their connection. (I reviewed an early copy voluntarily)

Starry-Eyed Love by Helena Hunting is a fantastic sisterly tale about Avery, London, and Harley Spark. They own and operate The Spark House in Denver, Colorado. The first introduction to the Spark family in When Sparks Fly published in September 2021. If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend it. Starry-Eyed Love is about London Spark; she was at a local pub celebrating with her sisters on her recent breakup when a man paid their bill and asked her out. She lied about being in a relationship. Months later, she happens to be in an important meeting when she meets the man again, Jackson Holt, CEO of Holt Media. With Spark House gaining popularity, Avery's wedding, and London's Esty side business, things get a little hairy, and the sisters struggle to maintain it. Not to mention a hot CEO who has a business interest and perhaps a romantic one. I loved this story; it was relatable, honest, and a slow build without angst. The writing is impeccable, and I didn't want it to end. I hope that Helena will write Harley's story soon.
