I really enjoyed this book the only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it's a part of a trilogy and I really dislike this thing that publishers have with hey let's make readers wait every year for the new book just to keep it going whatever happened to a end of the great story. But overall this is a fantastic read. And I cannot wait to read the rest

I am all about the Love of Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb books. I've read them all, loved most of them and liked the rest. Well, except for this book and the last witch trilogy. Both first books of each series were a DNF's for me, an unheard of phenomenon for Ms. Roberts and me. I will not be trying the second book in the series.

Took a bit to get going but after the first few chapters I couldn't put the book down. Good read and looking forward to the next two that follow.
