Doctor Saffron Bryant was born on the 17th December 1990 in a small town in North Queensland, Australia. She has been interested in fantasy and science fiction from a very young age, writing her first story at the age of seven. After an unpleasant encounter with a brain tumour, Saffron turned to writing as a creative outlet and has since published more than twenty books.
