About this ebook

The princess of Lost River has a secret—and he’s done being kept in the dark.

For months, Rex Carrington has bided his time, waiting not-so-patiently for the day he can stop sneaking around like a teenager on prom night just for a few stolen nights with gorgeous, curvy Ginny Morgan.

But his Little princess is nothing if not stubborn, and Rex is done waiting.

He doesn’t care how far he has to go or what he has to do…he’s finally going to get what he wants.

And what he wants, is her.

Author's Note: For many women, like me, having a baby did not come easily (or at all). Ginny's story deals in part with her yearning for a child, and the heartbreak that often comes with trying to conceive. If this is a theme that will be upsetting for you, please take this into consideration before reading. Your mental health is more important than a book.

Rex, the town's bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks has loved Ginny for years. Now is his chance, and he's going to do it right. Lots of dirty talk and angst, and I'm here for it. Plus-size Ginny is relatable, strong and she has depth. I love that the author poured so much of herself into this story. Rex and Ginny's HEA is lovely too. The whole book is a pleasure to read. While Ginny's Baby Daddy is better read as part of the Lost River Littles series, it may be read as a stand alone. Just do yourself a favor and read it! I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Boy oh boy did Ginny and Rex have some off the charts chemistry!!! I really enjoyed this book and love that they are exploring and learning about what kind of DDlg relationship they want. When Rex checked in with Ginny about the public spanking and reassured her that they could leave if she needed to melted my heart. I wish that Ginny was better with communication and not hiding everything that was going on between her and her family. Those are to big emotions to handle by yourself. I also needed Rex to be a little more gentle and understanding with the baby situation. He was jerky about it a couple times. Since 77% of the book was them trying to get pregnant it was disappointing that in the end there was no answer to that. Maybe we'll get an idea of what happens between these two in Edie's book.

Ginny's story wasn't what I was expecting in the best way. Ginny is strong and independent, but she's also vulnerable and guarded. She's a very relatable character and more than I thought she would be. Rex is also more than I expected. He's not just a Playboy and he's determined to show Ginny, and everyone else, that. There's a lot of emotional stuff going on in this one, and I encourage readers to check the trigger warnings. The triggers were dealt with in a sensitive and realistic manner, though, and I loved that. I've experienced Ginny's pain and doubt, and found her responses to be accurate. I do wish the story had been longer, but I wish that about everything Ms. Moore writes. I cried, I laughed, I loved the steam, and I finished the story with a smile on my face. It was everything I could have asked for.
