한국어 기초 회화를 어느 정도 습득한 외국인 및 외국인에게 한국어를 가르치는 내국인을 대상으로 한 한국어 기초문법 책으로, 한국어 교육 관련 비아시아계 외국인 석사 1호 Stephen Revere와 ‘외국어로서의 한국어 교육’ 전문가인 진제희 교수가 같이 집필했다. 한국어를 하는 데 있어 꼭 필요한 문법사항과 표현들을 엮었으며, 철저히 외국인 학습자의 입장에서 가장 효과적인 학습 방식을 제시하였다. 또한 저자가 몸소 체험한 언어 습관상의 차이를 재미있게 풀어놓아 한국어뿐 아니라 한국문화에 대한 외국인 학습자의 이해를 돕고 있다. 부록으로 MP3 CD를 제공한다.
