This book is not a diet book. It is a book for those that suffer a chronic illness or disease. It is well written as to give you a total background and history of Vit C. I have a daughter that has been diagnosed with a rare form on cancer. PNET sarcoma. Of course she went through chemo and they ( conventional medical doctors ) where more concerned about the tumor than they were with saving her life. This book has been a blessing. It has been a long road to get a doctor to write a perscription for Vit C IV, for fear of FDA ramifications. New law that hasn't even been passed Dietary Supplement Labeling Act of 2011 (S. 1310). This is a must read, for everyone. The two biggest killers today are heart disease and cancer. Since my daughter has been diagnosed everyone askes "What can we do". I tell them to read this book.

Steve Hickey has a B.A. (math and science) from the Open University, membership of the Institute of Biology by examination in pharmacology, and is a chartered biologist and a former member of the British Compute Society. He did research into ultra-high-resolution computerized tomography (CT) body scanning, leading the physics team in Europe's first clinical magnetic resonance (MR) imaging unit at Manchester Medical School. He has over 100 scientific publications, covering a variety of disciplines. Currently, he is a member of the biology department of Staffordshire University. Andrew W. Saul, M.S., Ph.D., is editor-in-chief of the Orthomolecular Medicine NewsService and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine. Has published more than 180 peer-reviewed articles and has written or coauthored 12 books.
