in 1999, I followed this story. Mostly via Westword, Dealing with the Devil, I felt compelled to read these articles once a year in memory and honor of Brandy Duvall. I have no ties to her nor her family. Except the grief and pain of both sets of mothers. I am now a mother to 4 grown daughters. I also had my daughters read these horrific article's, so that they could learn the perils of this world. In 2023, I see one of my daughter's posts on Facebook. She had gone and paid her respect the Brandy Duvall by visiting the steel cross, gravemarker on highway 6 mile marker 296.6. I see that it has made an impact on her after almost 24 years, and she still remembers. This is where I learned about "No Angels" by Steve Jackson. It's the first ebook I've purchased. I'm glad that I did. I plan the share with the next generation in my family. I never want this child to be forgotten. I also searched for names of the defendants on dept. of corrections website, I prayed for all the lost and wasted lives involved in this case, I prayed for both families. May God show them love peace redemption and mercy. RIP Brandaline Rose Duvall, you will never be forgotten.
