About the author

Steve Rosenberg has been a professional photographer and photojournalist since 1980, and is an active member of the Society of American Travel Writers SATW. He has produced 18 books, including travel guides for Lonely Planet, Cruising Guides and Aqua Quest. He has written hundreds of articles for various U.S. and International Publications. Thousands of his images have appeared in books and magazines worldwide.  He has also won more than 250 awards for his photography in international competitions, including a gold medal in the Hans Hass competition in Austria. Steve’s experience in the Galápagos goes back to the early 1990s when he first visited the Galápagos. Since that time he has made regular trips to the Galápagos taking photography, doing research, and leading travel tours.
