Steve Ward is a cancer survivor. While receiving treatment the staff commented that he was the most positive patient they had treated for some time. Steve shared with the staff his rule of the fact that he has no control over what has occurred, however, he has the control to change the outcome. During his 28 days of radiation treatment, he watched and talked with men who were struggling with their cancer diagnosis as well as treatment. This was a small sampling of people in one location and he realized there are thousands. This was the final motivation for Steve to write this book to share his inspirational method to help others cope day-to-day with the struggles of their challenges, not only cancer but also all of life’s traumatic challenges.
