Good read. Plenty of ups and downs. Good to be able to follow the life and times Beobrand and his crew as the get older. Reminds me of Uthred in Bernard Cornwell books

I have been following this series since book one and have not put this book down since starting. Excellent and the author has a way with words that makes you feel you are there with Beobrand on his adventures. Highly recommended.

nice twists and turns as the equally infuriating and entertaining Beobrand and companions take to the sea!!!!

About the author

Matthew grew up in Northumberland where the rugged terrain, ruined castles and rocky coastline had a huge impact on him. He now lives in Wiltshire, England, with his wife and their two daughters.
