I really did not like this book because it tries to teach you JavaScript by letting you code, however, many of the examples given require that you already have code, like in the beginning of the book it tries to teach you about iframes and how you can manipulate them through the DOM, however, none of the examples actually teach you anything, because there is no way to see or understand what any of them do. This results in that you have to Google around and figure it out anyways, which basically defeats the purpose of learning from a book.
