About this eBook

Sparks fly when a society belle and a biker with a troubled past get down and dirty in the Big Easy. Maisey Yates turns up the heat in the sizzling finale of a series co-written with Megan Crane, Rachael Johns, and Jackie Ashenden.

Micah Carpenter hates New Orleans. Hell, after ten years he no longer has much affection for the Deacons of Bourbon Street motorcycle club, either. But when the brotherhood calls, Micah answers. Joining the hunt for their mentor’s killer, he crosses paths with a Southern belle who exudes class—and sex appeal. Micah knows better than to mess with ice princesses: No matter how hot things get, they never melt. And yet he can’t stop himself from offering her a taste of the wrong side of the tracks.

Sarah Delacroix understands that reputation is everything. The daughter of a prominent family rocked by scandal, she’s desperate to restore their good name. Micah’s exactly the kind of man she should be avoiding. Behind his sleek and sophisticated exterior beats the heart of a predator—and she knows it. But, like the tattoos beneath his tailored suit, his rough edges are irresistible. And all too soon Sarah finds him getting under her skin . . . and living out every one of her hottest fantasies.

Praise for the Deacons of Bourbon Street series

“Launching a biker-themed contemporary series, [Megan] Crane piles on the passion and danger. . . . This tough and dirty world is fascinating and satisfying in its own way.”Publishers Weekly, on Make You Burn

“As far as biker series goes, this one has certainly been a heck of a lot of fun! Sexy, smooth and sweet, Rachael Johns’s installment of the Deacons of Bourbon Street is not to be missed.”—A Tasty Read, on Fire Me Up

“[Jackie] Ashenden’s contribution to the Deacons of Bourbon Street series is full of all the elements that make her books so irresistibly compelling: characters with dark, complicated histories; high stakes and higher tension; and an emotional, gripping plot that isn’t afraid to test both protagonists’ hearts and mettle.”RT Book Reviews

This is the final book in the Deacons of Bourbon Street and of all the books in this series I thought this was the best. When Micah (Prince) was banned from the Deacons, he tried hard to put his past behind him. He moved to California and turned himself in to a self-made real estate mogul. When Priest, the president of the Deacons was murdered, he was summoned back to New Orleans. Along with the other members, he wanted to find who murdered Priest so he could leave. He has no intention of staying in New Orleans. So the faster this is mystery is solved, the sooner he can go home. Somehow the Deacons became the owners of the Delacroix’s mansion. They are suspicious as to how Priest came about owning the mansion. Sara Delacroix is a rich, high society princess. She plans on having a Christmas party at the mansion. A mansion she thought was owned by her family. So Prince has been tasked to babysit Sarah to see if she can help solve the mystery of the ownership of the mansion. As they began to spend more time together, they began to act on their attraction. I liked Sarah. She was a good girl but wanted to be very bad. But she was also feisty, had a little bit smart mouth on her and stood up for herself. I enjoyed the banter back and forth between these two. The story line flowed easily. There was not a lot of drama tearing these two apart. There was also not a lot of inner turmoil which can sometimes detract from the story. I did not see the ending coming. Let’s say you finally get all your questions answered. This was a good ending to the series.

The final installment of the Deacons of Bourbon Street was the perfect ending to the series. I have enjoyed all the books in this series but have to say this one is by far my favorite. Micah didn’t want to come back to New Orleans but he owed is to Priest after saving him when he was younger. He came back for only one reason, find out who killed Priest and make them pay. He never intended on staying permanently. Sarah is a traditional southern bell who grew up in a wealthy family where image was considered everything. After learning that her fiancé’ cheated on here she ended her engagement which did not sit well with her family. Micah’s search for information on Priest death leads him to Sarah and there is an instant sexual tension between the two. They both fight their attraction but in the end they help each other find themselves and it is beautiful. Micah is a tough alpha biker but with Sarah we get to see the softer side, the side he only shows to her. I have really enjoyed the series and hate to see it end but the ending was done fabulously. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

Awesome read with some very interesting characters. It's very well written and a great wrap up to the Deacons of Bourbon Street series. Prince is not happy about being back in New Orleans, however once a Deacon always a Deacon and he's here as long as it takes to find out what really happened to the club leader Priest. After being banished from NOLA 10 years ago, Micah "Prince" Carpenter has worked hard to make a new life for himself. He's financially become very successful and has met many women like Sara Delacroix. He has no interest in trying to melt the ice princess. Or does he???? Definitely one I recommend.
