About this ebook

For more than a year, Hillary Clinton has laid out an ambitious agenda to improve the lives of the American people and make our country stronger and safer. Stronger Together presents that agenda in full, relating stories from the American people and outlining the Clinton/Kaine campaign’s plans on everything from apprenticeships to the Zika virus, including:

-Building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.

-Making the biggest investment in good-paying jobs since World War II, including infrastructure, manufacturing, clean energy, and small business.

-Making debt-free college a reality and tackling the student debt crisis.

-Defeating ISIS, strengthening our alliances, and keeping our military strong.

-Breaking down the barriers that hold Americans back by reforming our broken immigration system, ending mass incarceration, protecting voting rights, and fixing our campaign finance system.

-Putting families first through universal, affordable health care; paid family and medical leave, and affordable child care.

Stronger Together offers specific solutions and a bold vision for building a more perfect union.

I really like the noble ideas regarding unity in this book and agree that this country needs "the spirit of understanding" if we are to remain strong. I also agree that racism is an enemy to all of us. However I am concerned about political rhetoric, since truth and follow-through are matters of record that define a person, their team and agendas. I struggle with the contrast of these needed "ideals" and the absence of openness regarding accountability and truth in public office. (Not hit hard enough in the book) My biggest concern is that untrue, unaccountable politicking has allowed an elite and separated class of people to grow in power and corruption. This is not well addressed either. Rebellion of public officials to the “rule of the people” was glossed over as well. Cronyism and elitism are historically among the most destructive forms of racism. Summary: I am left with the impression of a ghost written hypocritical politicking “story” that fails to realize the eyes of the American people are opened to elitist racism.

No I would not recommend it. I want to know why I have to take my hard earned money and purchase a book (although a minimal fee) to find out what this women has to offer to my country. Why can't she tell us in the debates or her rallies? She as more money than I will ever see in my life time and she wants to me to pay for the details? NO!!!! Unless you fess up and make it public knowledge for free you will in no way be even a consideration for my vote!
