Don't read these two novels as one book. The second you finish the first, start reading the second. (It begins only hours after the first stops anyway) The ending is poignant and wonderful.

A darkly violent and gripping duo, difficult to put down and very cleverly written.

About the author

Stuart MacBride is the No 1 bestselling author of the Logan McRae series and the Ash Henderson novels, Birthdays for the Dead and A Song for the Dying.

The McRae novels have won him the CWA’s Dagger in the Library, the Barry Award for Best Debut Novel, and Best Breakthrough Author at the ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards. In 2012 Stuart was inducted into the ITV3 Crime Thriller Hall of Fame.
