An entertaining fast-paced alien romance that caught my attention within the first few pages & I enjoyed reading it. The plot is quite intriguing with some suspenseful situations/events. The characters are interesting & portray believable emotional feeling according to the circumstances they find themselves in. There is: a young human female (Amira) is engaged to a rather nasty & unappealing fiancé (Gregory) so she decides to disappear into the mountains hoping that the marriage would be called off & comes into contact with a domineering green Kaxxlorian alien bounty hunter (Vlann) when the escaped convict he was hunting tried to steal her backpack, adventure, action, drama, intrigue, suspense, attractions, bonded mates, discipline, spankings, threats, danger, attacks, abduction, devious plans, confrontations, rescued, contentment, love, steamy scenes & a wonderful conclusion.

The day before her wedding, Amira takes off for the mountains to escape a man she does not love nor trust. Vlann saves her from an escaped convict who is trying to steal her backpack. They strike a bargain in that she will stay with him for a few days, long enough for the wedding to be called off and then return home. Feelings are developing between them and plans change. The story is a good read and entertaining.

Amira is engaged to Gregory, but she doesn't want him, her family wants it. She decides to go out hiking until the wedding date has passed and she is free. Vlann is the only Kaxxlorian on Marryyn. He is a bounty hunter and he meets Amira by rescuing her from an escaped convict. He agrees to keep her hidden and their relationship starts. I liked that Amira learns to say no. It's not good to be a recluse. I hope that there will be more stories in this world. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
