Ratings and reviews

This series is wonderful! Fun and sexy and emotional and colorful! While the main story is about Tyra and Rem, I love the overall arc of the changing relationships between Earth and Mars. And such wonderfully vivid descriptions! Several times when Tyra is experiencing something new (ie. an enchanting forest or shopping in the market) you can really see through her eyes. Tyra and Rem are each a bit broken. Tyra flees earth, looking to Mars for safety from her horrid uncle. Rem was hurt and humiliated long ago, and now is becoming hard and consumed by anger. Each rescues the other in a very real way. Watching them reach their happily ever after was soooo rewarding! I really can't wait to see what comes next in this series! This is book two of the Savage Martians Series. Since a war many years ago, the Martian female population is virtually gone. Earth and the Martians entered a treaty to have earth women volunteer to become wives. Rem had a betrothed many years ago, but she rejected him. He is now very jealous and domineering. Tyra was raised by her evil and tyrannical uncle. Good read! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Good read but it took me a while to warm up to the alien mate in this one. I understood his situation but still.. Tyra was looking forward to a new adventure and she definitely liked what she saw but she wasn't so sure about what she got. Rem has been ordered to take a wife and even though he wants her right away, his past is blocking his future. Still a fun read but I don't think I'd stick around after a few of his bouts of MINE!
