Aspen lost her mother to an aggressive form of breath cancer and in her father's second wedding party she discovers a lump on her breast. Brooks has recently lost his mother to a sickness he did not even know she had. Their lives will intersect in a hotel bar in New York, they have a one night stand, and will meet by chance, at the Summer Camp. They continue to have a fake engagement relationship until Aspen's life is turned upside down by the media. Summer Camp Secret is a beautiful love story.

I really enjoy books where the characters seem destined to meet. I loved how Aspen and Brooks met. Then even though they went their separate ways, met again! They were exactly what the other needed at this point in their lives. It seemed fated. As with all of Kait Nolan's books I get pulled into the story immediately. They always feel like they are over too quickly. I loved the setting of the Summer Camp for adults. The story hit the full spectrum of emotions. A little humor, a lot of heart!

I love Kait Nolan’s style of writing, she always draws me in and has me invested from the first chapter. Summer Camp Secret was well written with characters that were easy to engage with as well as relate too. From the moment they met Aspen Fairchild and Brooks Hennessey’ had a connection, even if it was only for one night. However, a little white lie, causes pro hockey player Brooks complication he didn’t expect.
