About this ebook

We have all tried to walk in our elders’ shoes, but have we ever attempted to look through their glasses? I know I hadn’t, until Covid-19 started wreaking havoc across the world and locked us all in...together.
The partition of India and Pakistan was a dark moment for both the countries, with its violent repercussions affecting the dislocated and distraught families, like yours and mine, the most.
Here’s a story of a partition survivor, and how he made me and my family into who we are, by being the superhero that he is.
Join Pitaji (my grandfather) and his tabbar (family) on a journey of hardship, joy, misery, contentment, gratitude and everything else that life has given us. It’s also my journey of self-discovery. Tag along and you might find yourself somewhere along the way too.
