Full House is book 4.5 in The Drift series, though it could be read standalone with no issues. However, reading this book is a great edition to the series because Raze's quiet little home planet plays a pretty big role for pretty much the entire crew we've come to adore. It makes a great short stuffed here in the middle of longer reads. Raze is a cyborg who has lost all of his batch siblings to the wars and is now trying to live a peaceful SOLITARY life on an uninhabited planet in the middle of nowhere. As with all the cyborgs, his backstory is absolutely heartrending. Sevda manages to throw all that intention out the window in one simple miscalculation. She's had a pretty tough time of it herself, and made my poor little heard bleed for her. She makes a great counterpart to Raze with her overall outgoing nature despite her lonely job/life. The two manage to save one another through a few trials tossed out them both from the planet and the past. There is a bit of action, some steam, a lot of self discovery and some long awaited healing. Overall I enjoyed this addition to the drift series. As one of only two (so far, though the other is several boos ahead) one on one pairings, it's a bit of a treat as well.

About the author

Award-winning* author Susan Hayes lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family, and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef.

If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.
