I'm a big fan of Susannah Nix because of her ability to create characters who feel real, who aren't perfect but who do their best... and one can't help cheering for them. And she has a gift for telling stories that hold your imagination and your heart, touching stories with satisfying conclusions. Ryan and Maggie are wonderful characters - you want them to have their 'happy ever after'. I highly recommend this romance (in fact, I recommend the whole series: delightful characters and stories

What Happens when a guy who decides to stay single due to bad news and woman who decides to avoid making friends due to her job meet .... Sparks fly in this great and funny book After Ryan receives some bad news that could change the course of his life he decides that relationships aren't for him, he's happily single thank you very much Maggie is new in town, hired by King Creamery to help them avoid bankruptcy. Due to this she has decided that she will avoid making friends and getting close to anyone however when she sees her new neighbour Ryan, she tries her best to keep her distance, Ryan however had other ideas and tries to become friends After sparks fly between the two of them both realise that the plans to not get close to anyone will be tested Will their original plans hold or will love overcome and give them both just what they may need Find out in this wonderful novel

I enjoyed reading about Ryan and Maggie and how they came together. I would have enjoyed more if Maggie’s background was developed more than it was. She is divorced and estranged from her family (there isn’t a lot of talk about her upbringing only slightly touched on). She’s dead set against building relationships and putting down roots because of her divorce and upbringing (at least that’s what I gleaned from the little background given). That all being said I still enjoyed reading
