I remeber reading the series when I was eight. I enjoyed it, loved the characters, and really made me think a lot especially for someone that young. Reading it now so many years later made me appreciate this series more. The references to Greek gods and philosophers, they heavy messages, and the story. You not only relate to the characters you are reading about but also laugh, cry, and sometimes root for them.

Great books, brilliantly written. The first books takes time to get started but once it does you won't be able to stop your self till you have read them all.
