સ્વામી રંગનાથાનંદજી દર્શાવે છે કે પશ્ચિમમાં નારીમુક્તિ આંદોલન પાછળની જે ફિલસૂફીથી દોરવાઈને એ આંદોલન ચાલે છે તે ફિલસૂફીમાં જ પરિવર્તન જરૂરનું છે. એથી ઊલટું ભારતીય પરંપરા સંગીન તત્ત્વદર્શન પર ખડી છે; સમાજમાં પોતાનો મોભો અને આદર જાળવવામાં તેણે સ્ત્રીઓને સહાય કરી છે.
