"No one knows what a day will hold in Pelican Bay." With that first line, this story grabs your attention and keeps you reading until the very end. Megan Matthews has perfected the art of writing woman that sassy, feisty woman that are just a bit on the crazy side. All of her men are strong, protective alpha's that allow their chosen woman to drive them crazy or turn them into marshmallows. Tara, for all her silliness (not complaining!), is a sweetheart. Graham is a security consultant with an interesting take on things, at least when it comes to Tara. But all is not as it seems at the B&B that Tara manages, and Graham is determined that nothing will hurt his new lady love. Fun and snarky, with danger and intrigue, this book keeps you on your toes and smiling throughout. Happy Reading!! (Warning: part of a series, but each have different sets of main characters within their world, each book has its own HEA) I cannot get enough of this author and this series! It is wrought with emotion and so well written that I absolutely could not put it down! Each book has been cohesive and enlightening to the overall theme between these characters. The author pulls us into the lives of Tara and Graham with love/lust, secrets, suspense and danger. Graham does not know what is missing from his life, until he meets Tara. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
