Dodging knives, uncovering clues left by his past life, and dueling demons, Demascus must figure out who he is, who his enemies are, and what battles he is fighting. Along the way, he will discover that he is the last of the forgotten heroes—the only thing that stands between the light of the world and the phantasmagorical torments of the Abyss.

作者简介

Bruce R. Cordell has written books for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th editions of Dungeons & Dragons. His work includes short stories and eight novels set within the Forgotten Realms universe, including Plague of Spells, City of Torment, and Key of Stars. He is also a longtime game designer and won the Origins Award for Best Roleplaying Adventure in 1998. Besides writing and gaming, Bruce is interested in martial arts, science of all kinds, and an eclectic brew of other activities.
