Sylvie And Bruno Lewis Carroll - Sylvie and Bruno, this novel has two main plots; the first one is in the real world at the time of the book was published (The Victorian Era.), and the second one is in the fantasy world of Fairyland. While the latter plot is quite fairy tale with many nonsense elements and poems, same as Carroll's Alice books, the story set in Victorian Britain is a social novel, with its characters discussing various concepts and aspects of religion, society, philosophy and morality.

Lewis Carroll was an English fiction writer who wrote and created games as a child. At age 20, he received a studentship at Christ Church and was appointed a lecturer in mathematics. Carroll was shy but enjoyed creating stories for children. His most famous books include Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.
