Hz. Lut (a.s.) is the son of Haran, the brother of Prophet Abraham. He is one of those who believed in Abraham (a.s.) and migrated with him. Lut Prophet was a man of worship, generous, patient, pious and hospitable.

Like every prophet, Prophet Lut came to correct the moral values of humanity and to teach them to be a pure servant of the Almighty Creator. All kinds of physical pleasures outside of human nature are behaviors that do not please God and destroy human happiness. Those who make such evil deeds a habit will face wrath in this world and in the afterlife. Let's add that God has stated that She will forgive those who abandon bad behavior and do good things. His forgiveness is great.
