Angel is a waitress working at an extravagant welcome party for Leonidas, the next head of the famous Parnassus family. She's on pins and needles, hoping that her identity as the daughter of the Parnassuses’ archenemies won't be discovered. Unfortunately, her plans to keep her head down are dashed when she catches Leonidas's eye, and nearly ends up kissing him... One day while standing outside an actor's trailer in the rain, she thought:?there has to be more than this.?So she sent off a partial to Harlequin Mills & Boon.
