Obviously an oak is going to give you different impressions from a cypress. Therefore, in the second part of the book we describe in detail over sixty of our native trees, with their characteristics, the text being accompanied by colour illustrations. Ben has enjoyed an intimate friendship with trees, stones and streams since childhood. Not until he was a student did he become acquainted with his later teacher on the path of the ancients. Ben is a head of marketing with a degree in public affairs (lic. rer. publ.). He lives with his family in the Swiss backwoods.
