Missed Connections in the first book in Tamara Mataya's new Summer Love series. Missed Connections is the name of an online chat room where people can reconnect with someone they had an encounter with. Sarah is down on her luck after losing her job, home and boyfriend. Single, lonely and currently sleeping on her best friend's couch one of the few joys she has left is cruising the Missed Connections site. When Pete, her BFF, invites her to go and watch his twin brother Jack DJ Sarah doesn't expect the chemistry between her and Jack. While she can't deny Jack is hot she is looking for more than just a good time and that is all Jack is known for having. While Jack is tempting Sarah to let loose, Sarah is torn. She has made a Missed Connections online and this man seems to be perfect for her. He listens to her, ask about her day and turns the heat up to a whole new level, I mean the computer should have went up in flames! Sarah must decide, will it be Jack who she has crushed on for years or the mystery connection who she seems to have all the qualities she has been looking for in a man. This book was a quick and easy read and I enjoyed the premises of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a new twist on romance novels. I received an eARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

Friends to lovers is a classic troupe that I never tire of exploring. The fear of change, the risk of following one's heart and the discovery that something special is just around the corner is what draws me to these type of romances. Missed Connections gave me all these aspects and much more with Sarah and Jack.
