About this eBook

I have one rule: I don't do relationships.

The last thing I need in my life is a woman trying to tie me down.

There was only one woman I’d ever considered breaking my rule for.

That was, until I received her wedding invitation in the mail.

I learned my lesson years ago, and I don’t make the mistake twice.

I reinforced my walls, and never considered letting them down again.

Not even for the mysterious, gorgeous new woman in town.

Friends, I can do. Friends with benefits, even better.

But that’s where I draw the line.

Problem is, Devin is standing on the other side of it.

There are four stand-alone books in the Billingsley series:

♥Redeeming Lottie - Tucker & Lottie

♥Chasing Hannah - Billy & Hannah

♥Taming Wes - Wes & Devin

♥Tempting Tim - Tim & Conley

I've loved Wes since his appearance in book one of Melissa Ellen's Billingsley Series, so it's no surprise that I loved his book. I'll admit that when I listened to the prologue, I fully expected a different leading lady, but Devin is exactly the kind of woman that Wes needs. She maybe doesn't give his snark back to him as well as Hannah, but she still keeps him on his toes. And he can't get enough of her even when he's determined to stay away - he's certainly good at cutting ties given his Billingsley playboy status. If you're familiar with the Billingsley series, then you know it's packed full of terrific characters, and we even get to catch up with the couples from books one and two. It's also full of great dialogue with no shortage of snark and sarcasm, a bit of steamy goodness, and an emotional story for a couple you can't get enough of. Another thing I've noticed is that Melissa Ellen has a knack for picking narrators. So far in this series, each couple has been read by a different pair of narrators, and like the first two books, she couldn't have chosen better for these characters. Meg Sylvan and Neill Thorne do Devin and Wes perfectly. From the witty dialogue to the emotions and chemistry between them, these two give that little something extra to the characters and their story. Narrator performance can make or break an audiobook, and in this case, it's definitely the former. To sum it up. Taming Wes is thoroughly engaging and entertaining, and it's my favorite in the Billingsley series so far.

This is my first book in the Billingsley series and I am definitely going back to read the rest! I felt so bad for Wes after the prologue and Jenna's wedding. This changes him and the way he interacts with women, becoming emotionally unavailable. Then Devin comes into the picture. She brings her own baggage into town, along with being Jenna's cousin and best friend. It takes Wes and Devin a bit to sort all that out, but in the end it all works out. I really loved the story and all the characters...Grams, Tucker, Lottie, Lily, Hannah, Billy. As I said, I will go back and read their stories and I look forward to reading Timmy's and hopefully get an update on Wes and Devin! About the author

I'm the author of The Blackwood Series. I grew up as a book worm, reading anything and everything and still try to read at least a book a week. I've always had an active imagination. Luckily, I now have time to put it to good use into stories that are constantly swarming around in my head.

When I'm not writing, you can find me working on architecture projects, buried in a book with a cup of tea, playing with my adorable son, laughing with my husband, or tackling my latest DIY project.
