This book was such an entertaining read! I am loving these billionaire romances from this author and I loved Nash and Nixie. This is book that I read in one sitting as it completely ensnared my attention. Nash Knight is my kind of hero. He is ruthless on Wall Street, hence earning him the title of “The Black Knight”. Yet for all of his power and alpha male ways, he has softer side that he doesn’t reveal to many people which is part of the reason adored him. He has a commanding presence that is almost bordering on overbearing when it comes to his protective streak towards Nixie so she isn’t always so impressed with him. As someone who can have any woman he wants, it was a joy to watch him get all out of sorts when it comes to Nixie. Nixie is a relatively strong heroine. Her backstory is heartbreaking and the poor girl is on the run. Her resilience is admirable even if she doesn’t always face her problems head on. With both Nixie and Nash, I really like how the author developed their characters and also demonstrated their growth as the story progressed. As a couple, I really enjoyed the witty banter that occurred throughout the novel via text messages and the sizzling chemistry between them was palpable. In addition to this being a billionaire romance, it is also a marriage of convenience romance. The marriage aspect didn’t come to play until the last 2/3 of the book. While I expected it would be closer to the beginning, having it occur later within the novel worked well for these characters and their story. This allowed for Nash and Nixie’s relationship to really develop. Manhattan Mogul is a standalone in this author’s New York City Romance series. Previously published as Deal Breaker, this novel has been completely revised. If you love well written novels that feature an alpha billionaire hero, a resilient heroine, and an interesting storyline then you do not want to miss out on this book!

What a fantastic addition to the New York City Romance Series. This is Nash Knight and Nixie Hyde’s story and boy do they have a story to tell. Nash meets Nixie when he chases down two men about to attack her in dark ally, he insists on taking back to his apartment and getting her looked over but neither of them could ever imagine how their life’s would be turned upside down by this chance meeting. A tragedy from both their pasts bring them closer together but also starts a chain of events that kept me on the edge of my seat. I fell hard and fast for this couple, I swooned over the protective Nash, I adored the strength and determination Nixie has and what can I say about those adorable four year old twins who at times stole the show. The chemistry is sizzling, the banter is witty and it’s was an emotional yet entertaining journey as we watched this couple open up and grow together.This book touched me on so many levels and I’m excited to see where we are taken in the next instalment of the New York City Romance Series so I guess all that’s left for me to say is please one click this must read.

5 Star Review Manhattan Mogul (New York City Romance #3) by Tara Leigh Another great addition to the New York City Romance series. This is Nash Knight and Nixie Hyde’s story and one that reeled me in, hook, line and sinker. A past tragedy brings these two together and starts a chain of events that were riveting. I loved how protective Nash was of Nixie even though she felt it overwhelming at times. There were times that my heart almost broke for both of them and everything they have gone through. She is a strong, determined woman and one I admired. The banter between them was witty and it was entertaining to watch Nash realize that he had feelings for her The chemistry between them is passionate, intense and way to hard to ignore. I loved the growth of these characters as the story unfolded and I was really cheering for these two to get the happily every after that they deserved.

Tara Leigh is a multi-published author of steamy contemporary romance. A former banker on Wall Street, she graduated from Washington University and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, but she much prefers spending her days with fictional boyfriends than analyzing financial spreadsheets.
