SPIES, SUPERHERO, SHIFTERS, NANO TECH AND LOVE .A GREAT STORY LINE.. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT, February 21, 2016 I WAS GIVEN THIS STORY FOR AN HONEST REVIEW I was so happy to get the second book of this series, and can't wait for the next. Westley Worthington (West), billionaire , used to everything he wants being his - like yesterday, must now learn to adapt to his new world and earn what he always took for granted. Cordelia Cross (Cord) never had much an now supports her mom, disabled sister(Jess), all the medical bills for her sisters accident that left her unable to walk. Now she loves her boss and must help him become the man he never though he could be. West and Jess have their own secrets that are helping each other out- she is turning him into a superhero and helping him clean up their town. She is excited to have a job to do and the funds to do it right, he wants to prove he is good enough for Cord, that he has changed his playboy attitude and really cares about more then his pleasures. Edward Dalton , West best friend and head of security, with a few secrets of his own ( with the main one that West has no ideal of but now Cord does, though it was accident that she found out and may still be having a problem facing what she knows) is missing and they must work together to find him as she knows he needs help. I'm happy that so far I still think I guessed the end enemy will be. Can West pull his self together in time to fix his terrible mistake before someone is really hurt (and it made be him physically and emotionally )? Will Cord face her fears and be honest with West about how she feels and why she is pushing him away before it is to late and she makes a big mistake of her own/ To bad that West really has no one who when his mouth overloads his rear end that will call him on it but Jess and sometimes Cord. Now he has mistreated them who will stand up an lead him the right way, he does love them both.

Urgh!!!! If West & Cordelia could communicate with each other just a tad better, I would be less frustrated with them. :) Sorry about that, I'm a romantic reader at heart so I am always seeking the romance in everything that I read to feed my addiction, lol. Ok, so the very good thing about this series though is regardless of them, this plot is very well written, it has depth, its full of suspense and mystery, friends/foes and secret agendas. Almost everyone has a hidden secret, I can't wait for the revelations but at the same time I don't want it to end, kinda like you feel after watching the season finale of your favorite sitcom. I really think Cordelia is so overwhelmed fighting a losing battle with West that she is missing her true threat, I don't know I'm just sharing my thoughts.....

Once again I'm hooked. I just love the character even when I get upset with them. It keeps you on the edge, wondering what's going to happen next. I can't wait to read the next book. Keep it up Tasha Black.
