From USA Today bestselling author Tasha Black:

Volunteer firefighter Ethan Chambers leads a charmed life. The golden boy high school quarterback is a gorgeous grown up now with a great job, and a hobby that makes him a hero around town. But an unbearable sense of loneliness is making Tarker’s Hollow Fire Department’s favorite guy restless this holiday season.

Bear shifter Evangeline has escaped captivity in a secret research facility. All she wants is to run a quick errand in the town she called home for one magical year. Then she can try to outrun her dark past. But when a snowstorm of epic proportions hits Tarker’s Hollow, even a she-bear needs a warm place to hole up. Seeking shelter at the public firehouse on Christmas Eve, she winds up snowed in with the man she’s dreamt of since high school.

Join Ethan and Evangeline for a treasure hunt, a chili cook-off, and a second chance to find love in their own backyard. Just as things seem to be coming together, forces of evil threaten their newfound happiness. Will Evangeline crumble? Or will she be able to bear this challenge?

Bear This! (300 Moons #6) is a steamy standalone paranormal romance!

Wow, Ethan is as hot as the fires he helps put out!!! Lol, not only is he all sexiness, he's a compassionate champion. His actions & her story are very heartwarming. It's Evangeline's 300th moon and she is clueless. Evangeline gave me a longing feeling to just reach out, give her a hug and encourage her, she's a fighter and has finally come full circle to find more than she could have ever imagined having in her life. I feel like the series is progressing and in addition to the character's journey, the author is building depth on the 300th moon concept. Another excellent addition to the series!!

I enjoyed this series and reluctantly said goodbye. Then, Ms. Black gifted us with another. A really sweet love story. Evangeline has escaped from somewhere. Are the police after her when hunger and the weather force her to seek refuge in the fire house? She finds gorgeous Ethan on duty. He has no one at home to share Christmas with and is covering so the married guys and those with families can be with them for the holiday. He doesn't recognize the younger sister of one of his good high school buddies. He'd never made a play, not wanting to cause a rift in their friendship, yet she had been his crush even after leaving town. When he does realize who his visitor is, things begin to change. While her feelings haven't changed, her situation has. Not only is she on the run, there's more, much more. Once again, the author gives us a touching love story, plenty of steam, and a reintroduction to some characters we have grown to love. There is danger as well. Evangeline tries to run to protect Ethan. Will she get away from him and will the danger that she knows will seek her out on her 300th moon—now? I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

Ethan was working the Christmas shift at the Firehouse when Evangeline, a Harkness daughter who has been gone for many a year, was on her way home. She has been literally fighting for every mile. She knocked on the door and it was Ethan, home. He didn't recognize her, but he let her use the facilities, take a hot shower, and brought her some of the chilli, it was heaven. He finally recognized her. The more they talked the more they figured out they belonged together. She needed him to know about what her mom did when she took her away. Then a wolf came in for a fight. Ethan got one of his heavy fireman tools and told him to leave. Evangeline did not want him there so neither did he. He left after he had his say. Ethan did good seeing his first critters. What did the wolf want? What happened to her during all these years? I volunteered to review this ARC book using entirely my own opinion.
