This entire series is so gripping, heartfelt and full of those kind of heroes and heroines you think about long after you've put the book down. I have reread this series 4 times because I fell in love with the characters of Tessa's books. The world building is incredible. If you loe JR Ward, Christine Feehan, Lara Adrian and Gena Showalter then Tessa Dawn is for you! She is one of the first authors I tick off when someone asks me for best or favorite authors.

When I read the blurb I thought I knew what to expect. I was so very wrong! This book has vampires that don't mind showing who they are when forced too. Nathaniel is fierce! Jocelyn was a perfect compliment to him. And Marquis? Let's just say, I wasn't quite prepared for him. The story is told so masterfully, I felt like I was right there the whole time. Can't wait to dive into the next book and take another trip to Dark Moon Vale

Blood Destiny is by far one of the best books I have ever read. I was immediately hooked within the first chapter. The Author Tessa Dawn has a way of drawing you into the story as if you are watching it on the big screen. She has made these Vampires more real to life than I have ever seen. They are Charismatic in their beliefs, incredibly protective of their own and God help anyone who try to touch or harm their destiny (their woman). If you are looking for a story that will make you want more, make you fall in love with the Characters, completely surprise you with each twist and turn, this is the book for you. An added plus… This is a series and there are 9 more books with just as much power and edge as this one. I recommend reading the story’s consecutively as all the characters evolve and continue in the next book and if you skip around you may get a little lost. Happy reading.

About the author

Tessa Dawn grew up in Colorado where she developed a deep affinity for the Rocky Mountains. After graduating with a degree in psychology, she worked for several years in criminal justice and mental health before returning to get her Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management.Tessa began writing as a child and composed her first full-length novel at the age of eleven. By the time she graduated high-school, she had a banker's box full of short-stories and books. Since then, she has published works as diverse as poetry, greeting cards, workbooks for kids with autism, and academic curricula. The Blood Curse Series marks her long-desired return to her creative-writing roots and her first foray into the Dark Fantasy world of vampire fiction. Tessa currently splits her time between the Colorado suburbs and mountains with her husband, two children, and "one very crazy cat." She hopes to one day move to the country where she can own horses and what she considers "the most beautiful creature ever created" -- a German Shepherd. Writing is her bliss.
