Jessica Patch starts off this new series of Quantico Profilers with a book that immediately had my interest, and I just kept getting more and more involved with the characters and the plot as I read. Unless you are very self-disciplined, don't start this story late at night. I found it impossible to put down until I got to the end. Texas Cold Case Threat is filled with action, suspense, and a slow-burn romance between life-long friends. The plot has enough twists and turns to make it a fantastic roller-coaster! I was surprised at who the villain turned out to be, but it made perfect sense. I loved the thread of faith that is gently woven throughout the story. I rarely re-read books, but this one is an exception. I highly recommend this well-written story and would recommend it to family and friends without reservation.

Jessica Patch’s latest for Love Inspired Suspense is full of just that – love, inspiration, and suspense. Texas Cold Case Threat is the first in a new series, Quantico Profilers. After reading this one, I will definitely be picking up the future books in this series. Chelsey Banks and Tack Holliday are longtime friends and both in law enforcement. When a case from Chelsey’s past becomes part of a current case for Tack, the two must help each other. Danger is present around every corner. In true Patch fashion, the novel is fast-paced and exciting. Who is the killer or killers? I was unable to put this one down until the case and the friends-to-more romance was wrapped up in a satisfying conclusion. I was given a copy of the book by the author. All opinions stated are my own.
