THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN is the first instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS: LEGACY erotic, MFM, BDSM series-a next generation spin off from the author’s TEXAS SIRENS series. This is rancher Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood, veterinarian Jared ‘Grim’ Burch, and Nicole Mason’s story line. The premise is dramatic, intense and captivating; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are determined and dynamic.

There's suspense, mystery, and romance, and no one does throuples and BDSM quite like this author, and that's whether she's writing as Lexi Blake or as Sophie Oak. Josh, Grim, and Nicole built a relationship based on trust, respect, and love. Naturally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Jack, Sam, and Abby, aka the OGs. When it comes to new generation spin-offs, that level of expectation can be a hurdle, but Josh, Grim, and Nicole leaped nicely. 4.5 stars for The Accidental Siren.

This is the first book I have Lexi Blake. It is a next generation book (I could have used a family tree) that builds on the history of previous series. Josh and Grim are friends who have been seeking a woman to complete their desire for a committed menage. Nicole is not planning to put down roots, but an unexpected attraction leads to much more with Josh and Grim. Overall, the book was an enjoyable read with touches of suspense, growth and finding HEA.
