 Lacey Garner is a young reporter with a troubled past. She grew up in a cheap motel with a mother who was a prostitute. Having escaped the world of cheap prostitutes of her childhood, she now has to enter the world of thousand-dollar-an-hour call girls and expose the degrees to which New York's rich and powerful men are degrading and humiliating women for their own pleasure and amusement.
