I've read about half of the reviews on this book, that being said, I found that a lot some of the people who gave negative reviews didn't really apply what KS said in her book. I have been following the books suggestions for a month and a half, I haven't done everything perfect but I made drastic changes from what I used to do. From my own personal experience here are some things that I have noticed with the changes made from the book.
1. I've lost 22 lbs in a month and a half - combined with p90x
2. My energy is through the roof
3. Once you get into a routine of things it is actually quite easy, it was very difficult at first but now after time I have really gotten a handle on it.
4. After cutting out all of the garbage that she recommends I have noticed that my palate has changed dramatically, foods that I would have never wanted to touch with a 10ft pole I actually now enjoy and their flavors seem to be bursting.
5. My cravings for processed and over sugary things has subsided substantially, although every once in a while I will get a weird craving out of nowhere, KS acknowledges that to completely get rid of those cravings may take some time as your body completely renews itself.
6. I honestly believe that if people would step out of there comfort zones they might be surprised also.
7. I am married and my wife does not endorse this book at all, however she is very supportive of me and has actually benefited from the book whether she wanted to or not.
8. Much of what I read was a real eye opener to me as far as nutrition, we are not taught these things because they are not conducive to large companies making money. I.E. Dairy, Meat companies etc.
9. I'd rather have my new dietary lifestyle over my old, although it's been a challenge I am glad I didn't give a deaf ear.
10. In conclusion I will always be in the pursuit of knowledge and truth, so if I learn something new I may have to make a complete paradigm shift once again.
