Loved the story of Cody and Mallory. They went to high school together and were never boyfriend and girlfriend although they secretly liked each other. He has been gone from their town of Last Stand and is back aching to find his passion. She is a high school teacher who also teaches drama. Her passion is to renovate the town’s theater. He joins the working crew to be close to her. It is a slow burn romance that is very engaging and delightful. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
