Aristotle is one of the most crucial figures in the history of Western thought, and his name and ideas continue to be invoked in a wide range of contemporary philosophical discussions. Claudia Baracchi is Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. Her previous publications include Aristotle's Ethics as First Philosophy (Cambridge University Press, 2008) and Of Myth, Life, and War in Plato's Republic (Indiana University Press, 2002).
