Regina Gallagher enjoyed her life as a successful financial planner. She owned a beautiful LA beach home and had a wonderful relationship with her daughter. Toby Joyce was born in a small town in Oregon State where she lived until her family moved to Washington State when she was four years old. She is the second of four girls and to this day her three sisters are her best friends. Her parents are of Irish descent so the Emerald City of Seattle suited them fine and Toby was content growing up there. During her time in Washington she graduated high school, went to college and earned a degree in accounting, got married, had one beautiful daughter, got divorced and eventually grew weary of the endless days of gray, damp weather. In April of 2003, Toby made a major life change by moving to Southern California to be close to her daughter. It was there in the warm, sunny days of endless summer that she became inspired to write romance novels. Fortunately she was offered a great accounting job with a wonderful company in Santa Monica which enables her to write at her own pace on weekends and days off. She enjoys numbers almost as much as she enjoys words. Toby writes from her upstairs home office with a view of majestic Pine trees, high flying birds, and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. When Toby isn’t writing, she likes being outdoors at the beach or at one of the many parks. She has played guitar for many years and enjoys singing. Toby has two white cats that are brother and sister liter-mates who hang out with her and keep her entertained.
