About this ebook

He’s closed the door on music and Christmas. Can her voice be the key?

At the height of his fame, pop star Shepard Lake walked away. No one knows why, though rumors are rife. Creatively blocked, he seeks inspiration and a fresh start for his life and career by returning to his Tennessee roots. He finds far more than he bargained for when he is drafted to help with a small town Christmas festival.

Tyler Knight lives and breathes music, but a career as a songwriter remains a distant dream. When her sister asks her to return to their hometown, Sweet Tea, Tennessee, and help her with the town’s Christmas Carol Sing Off, Tyler is thrilled to have a change of scenery and a chance to start over after a series of disappointments. Then she is paired with the infamous Shepard Lake who’s too everything – handsome, confident, talented and way out of her league.

But is he? Will this Christmas be the one where Tyler gathers her courage to pursue her dreams of music and love?

I expect to see this book real soon on Hallmark Channel. It is written so well that I not only see it, i can actually hear the Holiday songs in my memory that I lost when my hearing left me in the 80s. But I also can see the wonderful Tennessee landscape that I grew up traveling to see in my childhood. Nothing touches a reader more than memories as they read a book. Well that and finding a touch of their favorite fictional town inside one book that was very unexpected. See there are roughly 1,768 miles that separate Marietta, Montana and Sweet Tea Tennessee, these 2 places i speak of. Shepard Lake and Tyler Knight are two completely opposite people who fate brings together outside Sweet Tea. This book is a book that touches all the wonderful feel good places while at the same time it also reaches down and squeezed my heart, when I stopped and compared Shepard to some of the Boy Band members out in the world today. As you read this book, if you are like me for the second time, you will cast real life artists in each roll. Wonder if you will choose the same picks I did for Tyler, Shepard and Sutton?

This is a beautiful sweet romance about following your dreams or getting your dreams back Shepard Lake was star at the top of the musical world when he walked away there are plenty of rumours why but the truth is he has lost his muse and his love of music So he retreats to his Tennessee roots and helps with a singing competition in Sweet Tea. All Tyler Knight is to be a song writer but she is always overshadowed by her famous sister then she agrees to help with the carol sing off in Sweet Tea Tennessee, there she meets Shepard. As the two work together to help children in the singing contest the attraction grows between them Can she give him his muse back and can he help her be brave enough to try to get what she wants You will have to read to see.

The Christmas Sing Off by Sinclair Jayne is book number two of the Smoky Mountain Knights series. A heartfelt story of two people who are struggling with finding themselves. Shepard and Tyler are perfect for each. Between their volunteer work and their friendship they discover true peace, happiness, and love. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
