About the author

Walter Brueggemann is William Marcellus McPheeters Professor of Old Testament Emeritus at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, and the author of numerous books including, from Fortress Press, The Word Militant: Preaching a Decentering Word (2007); Disruptive Grace: Reflections on God, Scripture, and the Church  (2011); and The Prophetic Imagination: Preaching an Emancipating Word (2012).
