About this eBook

Two men who hate each other. One impossible mission. A legend in the making.

Hadrian Blackwater, a warrior with nothing to fight for, is paired with Royce Melborn, a thieving assassin with nothing to lose. Hired by an old wizard, they must steal a treasure that no one can reach. The Crown Tower is the impregnable remains of the grandest fortress ever built and home to the realm's most prized possessions. But it isn't gold or jewels that the wizard is after, and if he can just keep them from killing each other, they just might succeed.

Wonderful writing. I can spend days raving about this series and wouldn't cover half the merit this author deserves for the creation of this series. Suffice it to say that your life is well spent with these books as an activity 😀.

Well written. Plot was enjoyable with surprises, characters had histories which made them feel real instead of just throwed together, and I actually laughed out loud at several parts. Great book.

This is the first book in this series I've read(I've decided to read in chronological order). I just finished this book and it is one of the best ones I've read in a long time. If they made a live action movie on each of the 5 books, it would make the hunger games look like crap.
