About this ebook

Liam admits it. He messed up big time with Ania.

Book 2 continues the story of these estranged alien mates on the starship Liberator. Captain Liam Synar and PeaceKeeper Ania Looren are trying to make peace with their turbulent pasts.

Ambassador Ania Looren was content with how she had lived her very long life. If given the choice, she would have chosen death over becoming the Daemon of Synar’s physical host. But compelled to save her life, her questionable mate, Captain Liam Synar, made the decision for her. Now she is fighting her own inner darkness as well the dark alien spirit she carries inside her.

Liam wants her to love him again, but how can she? Ania’s still struggling to forgive what he’s done.

*** The Forced To Serve series is humorous space opera along the lines of Firefly, The Orville, and written by a long-time trekkie.

Note from the author -- Just like in space opera TV shows, the characters in my Forced To Serve series reappear from book to book because they are crew members of the same spaceship. Book 1 (64,000 words) and Book 2 (110,000 words) together are the full story of Liam and Ania's adventure. Reading both books is recommended to get a full feel for this series.

I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW ..... OVER 18 + READING LOVE THIS BOOK AND THE STORY BEHIND IT Ania is coming to grips with being the daemon Malachi's host and Liam Synar her husband for putting it in her two years ago. On their bonding day, just before he left her, not telling anyone what he had none to save her life after the attack, now he has come back.Gwen Jet (Liam's second in command) is fast becoming a friend to Ania on board the ship. Gwen is Dorian Zade's (a male Siren and Khalsas trained )natural mate, but years ago when she first come on board the ship she was drawn to him but he refused her and even though he knew what she was to him he fought it. Now Ania's old student and Liam's best friend Dorian has decided to claim the woman, Gwen and this is where the fun begins because now she is running from him. What he wants to tell her is not what she thinks he wants to tell her.Gwen wants Ania to train her as a Khalsas warrior , (which it took her 50 earth years to learn and she has taught it for hundreds of years) and she has agreed, but she really plans for Dorian to take over when they finally get their lives figured out . Ania has found a way to adjust to Malachi, she is growing not so afraid of him and he is finally learning she maybe female host (for the first time, he has always had a male host) but she is a warrior and a good match for him.She will try to give him what he dreams of when she has a chance, but it is something Liam must agree to. Will he, can she make him see how it would help them all?Conor (Liam's big brother) will be coming to try to take control of the daemon Malachi, to get all his power which is something Liam can't allow. There is so much fun watching these two couples fight each other and themselves, and try ti figure out what is best for themselves.

About the author

After 35 years of doing everything else for a living, Donna McDonald published her first novel in March of 2011. Thirty plus novels later, she is living her own happily ever after in life as a full time author.

She does her best to give back to the universe by hanging out to write at local coffee shops and keeping them in business. When not at one of those, she is hard at work in her office at a monstrous black desk her husband lovingly refers to as her “table”.

McDonald's work spans several genres, such as contemporary romance, fantasy, paranormal, and science fiction. Romance and romantic elements abound in her work, but she claims humor as the most common element across all her writing. Addicted to making readers laugh, McDonald includes a good dose of comedy in every book.
