Loved this, sad and painful but an absolute must read. I had issues with some of the creole. While the cadence of Jack's English speech was pure creole, when he Creole it was always slightly off. For example, "beck moi tchew" should be beck tchew moi or in English bit ass me.

I started this series so long ago. I had stopped reading it after Dead of Winter. Well in the last 3 days I have re read Poison Princesse to Dark Calling and I fell in love all over again. This was my favorite book of all. I love 3 point of view and glad we finally get more of a look at Jack and my husband's thoughts. I have always been team Jack but over the year growing up, I have to say its team Aric for me. Love love love it . #Aricismybabydaddy lol

I am in love with this series. It has fighting, deceiving and love. people have complained about this books strained love triangle, but I love it, because Evie has stayed true to herself and her equal love. I hope she stays with both at the end. I also feel like Jack is the Minor of swords that granny told her to watch out for. But then again this is only my second theory as I thought that was Paul and Jack was lord uncanny. (GUESS I FAILED THERE) At the end, I love this and I can't wait to read the next book. I'm at the edge of my seat!!!!! 100/10 would seriously recommend. ps. RIP Finn....Baby boy didn't deserve that.
